Design, Features, and Safety

The Maruti Suzuki e Vitara is available in four dual-tone paint options, each paired with a Bluish Black roof. In contrast, the Tata Curvv EV offers a black roof with all five monotone body colors, depending on the variant. Both vehicles feature 18-inch aerodynamically designed alloy wheels.

Inside, the e Vitara provides a leather-wrapped steering wheel with tilt and telescopic adjustment, while the Curvv EV offers a two-spoke unit with tilt adjustment only. The e Vitara also includes auto up/down power windows for all doors, a 10-speaker sound system, seven airbags, and cornering control. However, the Curvv EV’s smaller battery pack option offers higher power output compared to the e Vitara’s equivalent. The Curvv EV also achieves higher torque figures. In terms of range, the e Vitara claims a higher figure than the Tata Curvv EV for corresponding battery versions.
Charging times differ between the two models. The e Vitara’s 45 kWh battery charges from 10 to 100 percent in 17.5 hours using a standard charger, while the 55 kWh battery takes 21 hours. With a 7.2 kW unit, these times reduce to 6.5 hours and 7.9 hours, respectively.
The Curvv EV’s 49 kWh and 61 kWh batteries charge from 10 to 100 percent in 6.5 hours and 9 hours using a 7.4 kW charger. Both vehicles support DC fast charging at up to 70 kW, but the Curvv EV achieves 10 to 80 percent charge in 40 minutes, slightly faster than the e Vitara.
