Both the internal combustion engine (ICE) and electric vehicle (EV) versions of the Grecale have received powertrain updates. The Nettuno twin-turbocharged V6 petrol engine now produces 590 HP, up 40 HP from the previous version.
The Grecale Folgore’s electric powertrain has been recalibrated for improved power delivery. Maserati claims the electric model now offers a range of 540 km, which is 90 km more than the pre-facelift version. The Grecale Folgore maintains its peak output of 557 HP.
India Launch and Market Strategy
Maserati is currently in discussions with local investors to expand its retail network in India. The company stated that it must first strengthen dealer relations and representation before introducing the updated Grecale to the Indian market. At present, Maserati sells the pre-facelift Grecale, GranTurismo, and GranCabrio in India, available in both ICE and electric Folgore forms.
The Italian manufacturer is also awaiting further information on the proposed India-EU free trade agreement (FTA). Maserati believes the FTA could allow it to price its models more competitively in India. The company continues to monitor developments related to the agreement as it considers future product launches in the country.
