On May 6, 2025, JSW MG Motor India launched a more premium and feature-packed variant of its popular Windsor EV, the Windsor EV Pro. It is marketed as a new top-of-the-line variant called the Essence Pro. In the latest version of Windsor EV, the automaker has offered several new features and a larger battery pack.

MG Windsor EV Pro Additional Features
Based on the existing top-end variant of Windsor EV, the Windsor Essence Pro gets some added features for superior drive performance and comfort. It has all the features available in the current top-end variant of the Windsor EV. Also, it gets additional features like Level 2 ADAS, V2V & V2L charging function, and new dual-tone interior color scheme.
Tech features like a 15.6-inch touchscreen, auto AC with rear vents, wireless phone charger, 135-degree reclining rear seats, fixed glass roof, 9-speaker Infinity sound system, and 256-color ambient lighting have continued to be offered by the brand.
The Essence Pro also gets a larger 52.9 kWh battery pack option, enabling the EV to deliver up to 449 km of range on a single charge. The EV gets a single electric motor and front-wheel drive system, producing a maximum power output of 134 bhp and 200 Nm of torque. MG Motor India is set to compete with Tata’s Nexon EV through this flagship addition to the Windsor EV lineup.
