Cyclone Remal: Cyclone Remal has caused extensive damage to cars in Kolkata, affecting around 600 vehicles due to the storm and heavy rain-induced waterlogging. According to Anandabazar Patrika, about 250 cars were damaged solely by waterlogging. The Kolkata Traffic Police reported that their department alone mobilized 600 damaged cars in response to the cyclone's impact.
