Moto Morini Calibro Bagger gets TFT console and new garage grey shade

Moto Morini has introduced a global update for the Calibro Bagger, featuring a digital TFT instrument console and a new Garage Grey color. The update aims to enhance the touring experience with advanced technology and practical features. While there is no confirmation about its launch in India, the recent introduction of the X-Cape model suggests a possibility.

Key Features and Technology

The new TFT console is now standard on the Calibro Bagger. It displays essential journey information in a clear format and connects to the rider’s smartphone. The console supports navigation through the Carbit Ride app, allowing riders to plan routes on their phones and follow directions on the motorcycle’s display. This integration adds convenience for long-distance touring.

Moto Morini has also introduced a Garage Grey paint scheme. The new color highlights the motorcycle’s long fuel tank, broad front fairing, and substantial rear bodywork. These design elements contribute to the bagger’s touring appeal and distinctive appearance.

Engine, Performance, and Comfort

The Calibro Bagger is powered by a 693cc, liquid-cooled, parallel-twin engine with a Bosch fuel injection system. The engine produces 67 HP and 68 Nm of torque, with a top speed of 175 km/h. Power is delivered to the rear wheel through a belt final drive, which operates more quietly and requires less frequent maintenance than chain drives.

The motorcycle features a batwing-style front fairing and integrated windscreen. This setup reduces wind pressure at higher speeds and gives the bike an American touring-bike look. Two hard-side cases, each with a 19-liter capacity, are fitted as standard and color-matched to the body. These panniers provide practical storage for long rides.

The Calibro Bagger offers a low seat height of 725mm, contributing to a relaxed riding position. Forward-set foot controls and an upright handlebar position further enhance rider comfort. The motorcycle has a dry weight of approximately 200 kg, which is typical for this segment. Ground clearance stands at 140mm, suitable for most road conditions encountered by touring motorcycles.

Additional Equipment and Accessories

Moto Morini offers several accessories for the Calibro Bagger. Options include a taller windscreen, rear luggage, a seat cover, a passenger backrest with luggage rack, and an alternative footpeg kit. These accessories allow riders to further customize the motorcycle for comfort and practicality on extended journeys.
