Flagship Model Colour Options
The flagship Norton motorcycle will be available in six colour options. The bold shades include Aqua Green, Glacier Blue, and Celestial Silver. There are no graphics or decals except for the ‘Norton’ logo on the fuel tank. This design approach aligns with Norton’s tradition of clean and simple aesthetics.
Technical Specifications and Features
The upcoming Norton motorcycle will use a 1,200cc V4 engine. This engine produces 203bhp and 130Nm of torque. The company has tuned the engine to deliver most power in the low and mid-range. This tuning aims to make the motorcycle accessible and enjoyable for street riding.
The bike uses a cast frame combined with carbon-fibre components. It features semi-active suspension for improved ride quality. An eight-inch touchscreen TFT display provides access to rider aids and key information. Braking is managed by Brembo Hypure callipers and cornering ABS for enhanced safety.
Electronic aids include traction control, wheelie control, slide control, and cruise control. These features offer both safety and convenience for riders. Norton plans to launch the flagship Manx and Manx R models in India first. The company may introduce the more affordable Atlas models at a later stage.
Market Entry and Future Plans
Norton’s entry into India marks a significant step for the brand. The initial focus will be on premium offerings. TVS Motor Company will oversee the launch and distribution. The strategy may expand to include additional models based on market response.
