​Oben Electric, a Bangalore-based electric vehicle manufacturer, has unveiled its new electric motorcycle variant, the Oben Rorr EZ. Priced at an introductory Rs 89,999, the Rorr EZ caters to the rapidly growing EV market in India. The company is accepting bookings with a down payment of Rs 2,999, with immediate test rides and deliveries available.

Key Specifications and Performance

• The Oben Rorr EZ comes with three battery configurations: 2.6 kWh, 3.4 kWh, and 4.4 kWh.
• The bike accelerates from 0-40 km/h in just 3.3 seconds and boasts a top speed of 95 km/h.
• It offers an impressive range of up to 175 km on a single charge.
• Equipped with fast-charging capabilities, the Rorr EZ can reach an 80% charge in just 45 minutes.

The Rorr EZ is designed with modern aesthetics, featuring:

• Headlamp and Tank Design: A rounded headlamp paired with a sporty tank design that houses the battery where an ICE engine would typically be located.
• Battery Placement: The LFP batteries are known for durability and heat resistance.
• Color Options: Available in Electro Amber, Surge Cyan, Lumina Green, and Photon White.
• Display and Rider Modes: A colored LED display enhances rider diagnostics, and users can choose from Eco, City, and Havoc modes for varied performance and battery management.

• Oben Electric integrates Lithium Iron Phosphate (LFP) battery technology into the Rorr EZ. These batteries:
• Offer superior durability and temperature resistance, with a lifespan twice as long as typical EV batteries.

The Rorr EZ includes multiple safety and smart features such as:
