Piaggio launches limited edition Vespa scooters on its 75th anniversary
● Piaggio celebrates 75 years of introducing Vespa.● As part of the diamond jubilee celebration, it launches the 75th edition Vespa scooters in India.● Limited edition Vespa scooters launched in 125cc and 150cc versions.

Vespa celebrates 75 years of existence. On its 75th anniversary, on August 19, 2021, Piaggio launches the Vespa 75th limited edition scooters in the Indian market. These scooters are available in India in 125cc and 150cc for Rs 1.26 and 1.39 lakhs, respectively. Piaggio has accepted the booking for these scooters at its official website and authorized dealerships. However, the Vespa official website mentions that the limited edition scooters will be available globally in the Primavera 50, 125, and 150cc models and GTS 125 and 300cc.
The 75th edition Vespa scooters are available in Glossy Metallic Giallo colour with dark smoke grey seats. Moreover, these scooters come equipped with a retractable chrome rack that looks like a spare wheel carrier. Besides, they get a machined finish on their windscreen and wheels.
The limited 75th edition Vespa scooters retain the original Vespa scooter features and mechanical tech specs. The 125cc model delivers 9.93hp power @ 7500rpm and maximum torque of 9.6Nm @ 5500rpm. In contrast, the 150cc variant produces 10.4hp power @ 7600rpm and 10.6Nm torque @ 5500rpm.
The scooters feature 200mm disc brakes for the front wheel and 140mm drum brakes for the rear. Besides, the smaller 125cc model gets CBS, and the 150cc, ABS.
These scooters are limited edition variants and are available in 2021 alone. As Vespa celebrates 75 years, it surpasses the milestone of production of 19 million units.
