The newly launched Renault Duster is available in several variants, with the Iconic trim at the top. Renault also introduced the Iconic Launch Edition, a limited-run version based on the fully-loaded Iconic. Both variants share the same price, features, and powertrain, but the Launch Edition offers exclusive cosmetic enhancements for buyers seeking a unique look.
Key Highlights
- Renault Duster Iconic and Iconic Launch Edition share price features and engine
- Launch Edition offers exclusive Mountain Jade Green colour and unique yellow highlights
- Both variants include 10.1 inch infotainment and 10.25 inch digital driver display
- Safety features are identical with 6 airbags and level 2 ADAS suite
- Only cosmetic differences separate the Launch Edition from the standard Iconic
Exterior and Design Differences

The Renault Duster Iconic and Iconic Launch Edition feature eyebrow-style LED DRLs, LED headlamps, LED fog lamps, a bold 'DUSTER' grille, and a silver skid plate. These elements give both variants a strong road presence. The main differences are in the details.
The Iconic Launch Edition comes in an exclusive Mountain Jade Green shade with a black roof. This is the only colour option for the Launch Edition. It features yellow highlights on the Renault logo and Duster lettering at the front and rear. Yellow contrast stripes and Himalaya-inspired graphics appear on the doors. The Launch Edition also has 'Iconic' lettering with yellow accents on the body cladding, yellow 'Duster' branding on the roof rails, and 18-inch blacked-out alloy wheels.
The standard Iconic variant offers dual-tone alloy wheels and does not include yellow accents or special edition graphics. It provides a cleaner and more understated appearance. Buyers of the Iconic trim can choose from additional colours: Pearl White, Stealth Black, Moonlight Silver, Sunset Red, and River Blue.
Interior Features and Equipment

Inside, both the Iconic and Iconic Launch Edition share a dual-tone black and green cabin theme. They offer leatherette upholstery, soft-touch dashboard and door panels, and a leatherette-wrapped steering wheel. The Launch Edition adds contrast yellow stitching on the seats, matching its exterior highlights. This is the only interior difference between the two variants.
Both variants include a 10.1-inch touchscreen infotainment system, a 10.25-inch digital driver’s display, wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, a panoramic sunroof, dual-zone automatic climate control with rear vents, and an air purifier with a PM2.5 filter. Other features include a 6-speaker Arkamys sound system, ventilated and 6-way power adjustable front seats with manual lumbar support, 48-colour ambient lighting, wireless phone charger, rain-sensing wipers, and connected car technology.
Safety features are identical in both variants. These include 6 airbags, electronic stability control (ESC), ISOFIX child seat anchorages, auto headlamps, electronic parking brake with auto hold, traction control, tyre pressure monitoring system (TPMS), hill descent control, a 360-degree camera system, and parking sensors at the front, side, and rear. Both also offer a level-2 advanced driver assistance (ADAS) suite with 17 features.
Engine and Performance
Both the Iconic and Iconic Launch Edition are powered by a 1.3-litre turbo-petrol engine with mild-hybrid technology. There are no differences in performance or mechanical specifications between the two variants.
In summary, the Renault Duster Iconic Launch Edition is a cosmetic upgrade over the standard Iconic. It offers exclusive styling elements but shares the same features, safety equipment, and engine as the regular Iconic. The choice between the two depends on whether buyers prefer unique styling or more colour options.
