The Royal Enfield Himalayan 450 Phantom package offers improved adjustability for the Himalayan 450's suspension. Buyers can choose between upgraded rear monoshocks from Hagon or K-Tech. Both options provide preload and compression damping adjustment. The K-Tech shock also includes rebound adjustment, allowing for more precise suspension tuning. For the front suspension, customers can opt for a K-Tech ProValve kit. This kit enhances damping performance without requiring replacement of the standard forks.

The 452cc engine remains mechanically unchanged. However, Cooperb Motorcycles has added several performance upgrades. These include a full-system exhaust from HP Corse, a DNA high-performance air intake kit, and the FuelX Pro Plus. These additions aim to improve the engine's efficiency and response.

Fuel Capacity and Additional Features

The standard 17-litre fuel tank has been replaced with a larger 23-litre plastic unit from Acerbis. This change allows for longer rides between refueling stops. The bike also features Royal Enfield’s rally-style seat, which is 20 mm taller than the original seat, providing a more commanding riding position.

The Phantom package includes lighter and stronger SM Pro wheel rims and a larger 18-inch rear wheel. Protective components such as Acerbis handguards, engine case protection, and fork guards are also part of the upgrade. These features are designed to enhance durability and rider safety during off-road use.

Target Audience and Market Position

With its improved suspension, increased fuel capacity, and reinforced components, the Phantom build targets riders seeking greater adventure capability. The price of the package is nearly double that of the standard Royal Enfield Himalayan 450. As a result, it is expected to appeal mainly to enthusiasts who desire a highly personalized off-road motorcycle.
