Simple Energy plans to launch 150 stores and 200 service centres nationwide in 2025, strengthening its presence in India’s growing two-wheeler EV market.

Simple Energy, a leading clean-tech startup, has unveiled ambitious expansion plans for 2025, including the launch of 150 new stores and 200 service centres across major cities such as Delhi, Mumbai, Bengaluru, Hyderabad, and Kolkata. With 10 stores already operational and over 1,500 deliveries completed, the company has established a significant presence in five South Indian states following its commercial debut in May 2023.

India’s two-wheeler EV market has seen remarkable growth, with retail sales rising by 33% to 1.14 million units in CY2024. Currently operating in key markets like Bangalore, Goa, Pune, Vijayawada, Hyderabad, Vizag, and Kochi, Simple Energy has witnessed strong demand for its flagship models. Recognising the increasing adoption of EVs in Tier 2 and Tier 3 cities, the company plans to expand nationwide, setting up stores and service centres across 23 states, including Karnataka, Maharashtra, Tamil Nadu, Telangana, Gujarat, Kerala, Rajasthan, Uttar Pradesh, Delhi, Uttarakhand, Madhya Pradesh, and West Bengal. This strategic expansion aims to strengthen its position as a leading super EV brand in India, driving performance, sustainability, and accessibility in the electric two-wheeler segment.

The company operates a state-of-the-art manufacturing facility in Hosur, Tamil Nadu, producing precision-engineered electric vehicles that reflect its focus on quality and sustainability.

To date, Simple Energy has raised $41 million through Pre-Series A and Series A funding rounds, with investments from prominent angel investors and family offices, including Balamurugan Arumugam (Chief Growth Officer, Klarity), the Haran family office, Apar Industries’ promoters, Dr. A. Velumani’s family office, and the Vasavi family office, among others.
