The Kushaq facelift is available in four main trims: Classic Plus, Signature, Sportline, and Prestige, along with a special Monte Carlo Edition. The Classic Plus variant comes equipped with LED DRLs and LED projector headlamps. The automatic version adds LED fog lamps with a cornering function. However, it does not include the illuminated light bar across the grille seen in higher variants.

Alloy wheels are standard, even on the base variant. The Classic Plus also features LED turn indicators, Skoda badging on the front fender, and roof rails. At the rear, it offers LED tail lamps, a rear defogger, washer, and wiper. The base variant uses a black diffuser garnish, while higher trims add gloss black and chrome accents. A roof-mounted spoiler is included, but there is no shark fin antenna.

The Classic Plus is available in five colours: Carbon Steel, Lava Blue, Candy White, Brilliant Silver, and Cherry Red.

Interior Features and Safety

Inside, the Kushaq Classic Plus feels similar to a mid-spec variant. It includes an infotainment system with speakers and steering-mounted audio controls. The dashboard layout remains clean and practical, with an MID display in the instrument cluster. Higher variants offer a fully digital driver display.

The interior features fabric seats, a black theme, Kushaq scuff plates, and a leatherette steering wheel and gear knob in the automatic version. Additional features include a front centre armrest, height-adjustable headrests, and multiple storage spaces. Automatic climate control with rear AC vents, a height-adjustable driver seat, power windows, and a single-pane sunroof are standard.

Automatic variants add cruise control and paddle shifters. However, the Classic Plus misses out on ventilated front seats, a panoramic sunroof, powered front seats, a 10.25-inch digital driver display, and a wireless phone charger. The infotainment system is a 7-inch unit without wireless Apple CarPlay or Android Auto.

Safety features include 6 airbags, ABS with EBD, ESC, auto-dimming IRVM, rain-sensing wipers, ISOFIX child seat mounts, and rear parking sensors. It lacks a reverse parking camera, TPMS, front parking sensors, and a dual-tone horn.

Engine Options and Competition

The Kushaq Classic Plus comes with a 1-litre turbo-petrol engine, available with both manual and automatic transmissions. The new 8-speed automatic transmission replaces the previous 6-speed AT, offering smoother shifts and better fuel efficiency. Higher variants also offer a 1.5-litre turbo-petrol engine with a 7-speed dual-clutch transmission.

The Kushaq competes with SUVs like the Renault Duster, Kia Seltos, Hyundai Creta, Tata Sierra, VW Taigun, Honda Elevate, and MG Astor. The Classic Plus variant provides essential features and safety at an accessible price, making it a strong contender in the compact SUV segment.
