Exterior and Design Updates

The Skoda Kushaq facelift features significant exterior changes. The front now sports LED headlights with sleek LED DRLs, flanking the signature Skoda grille finished in gloss black. Connected LED elements run across the grille, similar to the larger Kodiaq. The fog lights have been upgraded to LEDs, replacing the previous halogen units. The front bumper includes a silver skid plate and mesh-like air inlets for added style.
The side profile of the Prestige variant features new 17-inch alloy wheels, chrome inserts on the door handles, chrome window garnish, and gloss black finishes on the B and C pillars. Minimal cladding along the side skirts and silver roof rails with a 50kg load capacity complete the look. At the rear, connected LED lighting and an illuminated Skoda wordmark help the Kushaq stand out at night. Chrome garnish on the trunk and engine badging further enhance its appearance.
Skoda has introduced new colour options for the Kushaq, increasing the total to eight. These include Shimla Green, Cherry Red, Steel Grey, Candy White, Carbon Steel, Brilliant Silver, Lava Blue, and Deep Black. The Prestige variant is available in all these colours, but dual-tone shades remain exclusive to the Monte Carlo edition.
Interior Features and Safety

The dual-tone cabin of the Prestige variant features beige leatherette seats and chrome accents on the dashboard, gear knob, door handles, and steering wheel. Two-colour ambient lighting runs across the dashboard. The variant also includes a panoramic sunroof, enhancing the cabin's sense of space.
Standard features include keyless entry, push button start/stop, auto air conditioning, rear AC vents, and electrically adjustable outside mirrors. The Prestige variant adds a panoramic sunroof, powered and ventilated front seats, a segment-first rear seat massage function, a 10.25-inch digital driver's display, and a 6-speaker Skoda sound system with subwoofer and amplifier. The 10.1-inch infotainment system with wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay is standard from the Signature variant upwards.
Safety features include six airbags, ISOFIX child seat mounts, rear wiper and defogger, ABS with EBD, tyre pressure monitoring system, and auto-dimming inside mirror. Front parking sensors are available from the Signature variant, and rear disc brakes are exclusive to the 1.5-litre turbo-petrol engine. The Kushaq does not offer advanced driver assistance systems, but the pre-facelift version received a 5-star Global NCAP rating in 2022.
Variants, Powertrains, and Pricing
The Prestige variant is the only Kushaq trim available with all powertrain options. Prices start at Rs 16.79 lakh for the 1-litre manual transmission and go up to Rs 18.79 lakh for the 1.5-litre, 7-speed DCT (all prices ex-showroom). The Kushaq competes with models such as the Renault Duster, Kia Seltos, Hyundai Creta, Tata Sierra, Volkswagen Taigun, Honda Elevate, and Maruti Grand Vitara/Toyota Hyryder.
