Svitch MotorCorp introduces the CSR 762 E-Bike in Ahmedabad, offering an array of impressive features at an ex-showroom price of Rs 1,89,999.
Key Highlights:
Svitch MotorCorp has made a significant entry into the electric vehicle (EV) market with the official launch of the CSR 762 e-bike. Priced at Rs 1,89,999 (ex-showroom), this unveiling follows a brief pause, with the company initially announcing a lower price of Rs 1.65 lakh in June 2022.
The CSR 762 boasts a powerful 3kW permanent magnet synchronous motor (PMSM) that delivers a peak power output of 10kW and a torque of 56Nm. With a claimed top speed of 110 kmph, the e-bike caters to enthusiasts seeking a balance of speed and sustainability.
The lithium-ion battery pack, with a capacity of 3.6kWh, provides a claimed range of 160km. Additionally, the CSR 762 offers six riding modes, including standard modes: sports, park, and reverse. The suspension system comprises a telescopic fork at the front and a mono-shock at the rear, ensuring a smooth and comfortable ride. Braking is efficiently handled by a robust system featuring a 300mm front disc and a 280mm rear disc.
The CSR 762 doesn't compromise on convenience, providing a capacious 40L boot space for storage. Weighing in at 155kg and with a seat height of 810mm, it strikes a balance between agility and comfort.
Additional features include a full LED lighting system and a 5-inch TFT display with smartphone connectivity through an Android app and iOS. Available in three captivating colors - Scarlett Red, Black Diamond, and Molten Mercury - the CSR 762 is set to turn heads on the streets.
Despite the announcement of the price, the e-bike is not yet available for purchase. Svitch MotorCorp has introduced a unique opportunity for enthusiasts to express their interest in the CSR 762 by paying a nominal Rs 1 as an Expression of Interest (EOI).
Customers participating in this offer will enjoy priority benefits when the e-bike becomes available for purchase. This special offer is valid until March 31st.
To strategically decide on dealership locations, Svitch MotorCorp aims to collect EOIs from 1 lakh customers. The company plans to analyse this data and prioritise the first 500 units for delivery to shortlisted customers.
The launch of the CSR 762 marks a significant step for Svitch MotorCorp in the EV market, combining cutting-edge technology, impressive performance, and a customer-centric approach. The CSR 762 is not just a vehicle; it represents a commitment to a sustainable and electrifying future in the world of two-wheelers.
