Tata Altroz Racer: The Tata Altroz Racer is expected to make its India debut in June 2024. The upcoming car is essentially a premium version of the automaker’s existing hatchback, Altroz. According to a leaked official document, the Altroz Racer will be launched in India in mid-June. The Altroz Racer was first demonstrated at the 2023 Auto Expo and since then it has been very clear that it will be an excellent addition to the segment. Tata Altroz Racer: All You Can Expect

The upcoming Altroz Racer is expected to get a similar look as the showcased concept model at the Auto Expo 2023. In terms of design elements, the hatchback will reportedly get a blacked-out bonnet, ORVMs, and dual white stripes on the bonnet and roof.

Talking about the interiors, the hatchback will expectedly get a bigger and more premium 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system with Android Auto and Apple Car Play support. There’s also a possibility of the hatchback featuring an air purifier, ventilated front seats, automatic climate control, a 360-degree camera, wireless charging, and a voice-controlled sunroof. The cabin will get a similar look to Hyundai’s N-Line with leather seat upholstery and red stitches and accents.

Tata Altroz Racer: Engine and Power

As far as the power is concerned, the Atroz Racer will expectedly get a  1.2-litre turbo petrol engine. This is the same powerhouse that is utilized for the Nexon SUV and churns out the maximum power of 118 bhp and peak torque of 170 Nm. The powerhouse will be mated with a 6-speed gearbox.

Tata Altroz Racer: Rivals and Price Expectations

Once launched, the Altroz Racer will compete with the likes of the Hyundai i20 N Line in India. Talking about the price, the premium hatchback will expectedly arrive with a starting price tag of Rs. 7 lakh and go up to 11 lakh.
