Harrier.ev gets 19-inch alloy wheels and is offered in multiple color options, including Nainital Nocturne, Empowered Oxide, Pristine White, and Pure Grey.
Tata Harrier.ev has been launched in India with a starting price of Rs 21.49 lakh, ex-showroom, with the bookings to commence on July 2, 2025. Tata Motors already announced that the all-new Harrier.ev will launch on June 3. Notably, the newly launched Harrier.ev is Tata Motors' first model with an all-wheel drive system after discontinued Safari Storme. The booking window for Tata Harrier EV will open on July 2. The automaker claimed that this electric SUV has several segment-first features and multiple upgrades compared to its ICE counterpart.
The overall design of the Harrier.ev is similar to the ICE version of the Harrier SUV. However, Tata's electric SUV boasts multiple unique elements that make its own entity. One of the notable distinguishing elements is its closed-off grille complementing the DRLs and LED stripe covering the width of the SUV. The projector headlight setup is configured polygonal on either side of the newly designed front bumper.
However, the silhouette of the EV is the same as its ICE sibling. Harrier.ev gets 19-inch alloy wheels and is offered in multiple color options, including Nainital Nocturne, Empowered Oxide, Pristine White, and Pure Grey. Tata has also introduced the Stealth edition of the Harrier EV with a black exterior and interior.
Tata Harrier.ev boasts an extended range of upgrades inside the cabin, particularly across the dashboard and 10.25-inch instrument cluster. The homegrown brand claimed it offered the world's first 14.53-inch Harman-sourced infotainment system powered by Samsung NEO OLED. It has offered the world's first JBL Black 10-speaker sound system with Dolby Atmos to elevate the cabin environment even further.
Additionally, the interior of Harrier.ev packs powered and ventilated front seats, driver seats with memory function, voice-enabled panoramic sunroof, window sunblinds, and ambient lighting. The second-row seats are configured to support the 60:40 split seat function. The model comes with 502 liters of standard boot space, which can be expanded up to 999 liters. The AWD variants of Harrier.ev sports a 35-liter frunk space for additional storage. Additional features like a wireless charger, air purifier, powered tailgate, dual-zone climate control, sliding armrest with cooled storage, and cruise control functions are also provided.
Nevertheless, the all-new Tata Harrier.ev comes with autonomous parking assist, summon mode, reverse assist, several regeneration modes with paddle shifters, a 540-degree surround view camera, HD rear view mirror IRVM, and digital key features. Tata has equipped its electric SUV with vehicle-to-load and vehicle-to-vehicle charging features. This impressive range of features is divided into three trim options: Adventure, Fearless, and Empowered.
Tata cars are known for their top-notch safety features and rugged build quality, meaning the newly launched Harrier.ev is equipped with a range of safety features and impressive build quality. For instance, it gets seven airbags, a digital video recorder, TPMS, hill descent control, hill hold assist, sensing wipers, and electronic parking brakes. The Harrier.ev also gets disc brakes for all wheels with disc wiping, AVAS, auto headlamps, and a level 2 ADAS suite.
The all-new Harrier.ev is launched in two battery pack options, 65 kWh and 75 kWh. The larger battery pack offers a range of 627 km on a single charge. Tata claimed that with a 12kW DC fast charger, the EV could offer a maximum range of 250 km within 15 minutes of charging time. The battery pack can be charged 20-80% in just 25 minutes, making it ideal for long-trip requirements.
The AWD variant of Harrier.ev comes with a dual motor setup, comprising a 155 hp motor in front and a 234 hp motor in the rear. The combined torque for the AWD trim is claimed to deliver 504 Nm, making the SUV can sprint 0-100 km/h in 6.3 seconds. Tata Harrier.ev gets four drive modes, including Boost, Sport, City, and Eco, in the AWD variant and three driving modes, including Eco, City, and Sport, in the RWD variant.
The vehicle gets a multi-link suspension with frequency-dependent damping to enhance off-road capabilities. The Tata Harrier.ev also has six terrain modes to tune the vehicle's performance according to surroundings.
Tata Harrier.ev price in India has been kept from Rs 21.49 lakh, ex-showroom. However, the brand has yet to confirm the model-wise price details and add-ons. With several segments' first features like a 14.53-inch infotainment, a 540-degree surround view camera, and up to 627 km of range, the Harrier EV will rival the Mahindra BE 6, the Mahindra XEV 9e, and the Hyundai Creta Electric.
