The Next-Gen Oben Rorr EZ Ready to Debut on August 5

​Oben Electric is all set to reveal its most affordable version of the Rorr. The upcoming Oben Rorr EZ is the second generation of its popular Rorr series motorcycle, scheduled to be launched on August 5, 2025. This bold decision is to be taken by the brand to revamp the bike’s appeal for urban commuters with practical rider-centric upgrades.

The electric motorcycle will also start the bookings on the same day, while the deliveries will commence from August 15, 2025. The new bike will have major updates in features, while the bike will retain its strength from the original model that was launched back in 2024. Let's dive deeper into this EV for further details.

Second-Gen Oben Rorr EZ​

The second-gen Rorr EZ will be a more affordable electric bike than its predecessor, the Oben Rorr. While the design is considered, the electric bike follows sharper styling lines, and the ergonomic controls are positioned to enhance the rider’s comfort and usability. The exterior updates include the digital speedometer, smart connectivity, and different ride modes.

Battery, Range, and Performance

The second-generation Oben Rorr EZ offers three battery powertrains as an option to consumers. These are 2.6 kWh, 3.4 kWh, and 4.4 kWh. While the overall architecture remains constant with LPF technology. This battery is engineered in excellence to provide 50% more heat resistance and elongate the conventional cells.

With such a power configuration, computers can expect an impressive IDC range of up to 175 km on a single charge. The top speed of the bike is estimated to be about 95 kmph. To add more, Rorr EZ offers fast charging that can make your ride charge to 80% in just 45 minutes.

​Pricing and Variant

The Rorr EZ will be available in three variants. The standard variant will be packed with 2.6 kWh at an introductory price of Rs 99,999 (ex-showroom). Then comes the mid-range Rorr EZ with 3.4 kWh priced around Rs 1.19 lakh (ex-showroom). Then comes the top variant, Rorr EZ, with a battery pack of 4.4 kWh. The top model is estimated to cost around Rs 1.29 lakh (ex-showroom) in India.
