Royal Enfield surprised enthusiasts at Motoverse 2025 in Goa by unveiling the Continental GT 750 race bike, marking a pivotal shift with its new 750 cc parallel-twin platform. This fresh entrant promises exhilarating performance upgrades while maintaining the signature retro-café racer DNA that has made the Continental GT a cult favorite worldwide.
The Continental GT 750 confronts the arrival of Royal Enfield’s most powerful and technically advanced café racer yet, aimed at both the racetrack and road. With a competitive edge engineered for the upcoming GT Cup, the bike embodies a blend of classic style and modern race-inspired innovations that reflect Royal Enfield’s intent to dominate the middleweight racer segment.

The Continental GT 750 will be powered by a 750 cc parallel-twin engine, an evolution from the previous 648 cc powertrain unit. This powerhouse delivers an impressive output of approximately 55 HP and 60 Nm of torque. The race version features a custom free-flow exhaust system aimed at enhancing performance and trimming weight, vital for race demands.
It offers a Showa telescopic front fork and revised twin rear shocks, alongside 17-inch alloy wheels wrapped in high-performance tires for razor-sharp feedback and cornering prowess. Upgraded twin front discs with Bybre calipers ramp up braking confidence, ensuring the bike stops on a dime, essential for racetrack intensity.
Stylistically, the Continental GT 750 preserves its classic café racer heritage with a sharp, retro-modern stance. The bikini fairing, race plates, and a shortened rear subframe contribute to a compact and nimble look. Lowered clip-ons and rear-set footpegs provide a riding position optimized for sportier dynamics, perfectly blending race functionality with vintage aesthetics.
The bike’s race livery, featuring a modern, blacked-out crankcase contrasted with a sleek body, will appeal to riders seeking both performance and style. The twin-pod instrument console with analogue speedometer and tachometer merges classic motorcycle design with modern instrumentation, while the production version is expected to offer a round TFT screen with Bluetooth connectivity.

Royal Enfield plans to launch the production version of the Continental GT 750 around late 2026 or early 2027, with an expected ex-showroom price of around Rs 3.90 lakh (ex-showroom) in India.
While the Motoverse 2025 showcased the race-spec Continental GT-R 750, the road-going model will likely feature two variants—one with and one without the fairing. By integrating advanced racing technology and performance enhancements with classic Royal Enfield charm, the Continental GT 750 sets a new benchmark in the middleweight café racer segment, promising enthusiasts an exhilarating riding experience both on and off the track.
This launch at Motoverse 2025 not only signals Royal Enfield’s ambition to redefine café racers but also strengthens their position in the competitive Indian and global motorcycle markets with a powerful, stylish, and race-ready machine.
