Bajaj Auto, in collaboration with Triumph, is unlikely to test an existing product unless it features a new powertrain. Triumph is currently developing 350 cc versions of its 400 cc lineup. The upcoming Triumph 350 range is expected to be important for the brand’s India strategy.

The new 350 cc engine will attract an 18 percent GST, compared to the 40 percent GST on the current 400 cc models. This significant tax reduction could lead to a notable decrease in price for the updated Speed T4.

Expected Pricing and Launch Timeline

The updated Triumph Speed T4 is expected to be priced about Rs. 20,000 to Rs. 25,000 lower than the current model. This price adjustment could make the motorcycle more competitive in its segment.

If Triumph sets the price aggressively, the Speed T4 will be positioned closer to the Royal Enfield Hunter 350. It could also offer better performance compared to its rivals.

The new Triumph 350 range is scheduled for launch in India in April 2026. The Speed T4 is expected to be a key model in this lineup, which will also include the Speed 350 and the Scrambler 350 X.

Conclusion

With the Triumph Speed T4 test mule already sighted, anticipation for Triumph’s 350cc segment entry is on the rise. The bike is expected to blend premium styling with accessible performance, catering to India’s growing community of mid-capacity motorcycle enthusiasts. As the launch nears, the Speed T4 could redefine expectations in the compact roadster category.
