Triumph India has launched the most-awaited sports bike in India. The 2025 Triumph Speed Triple 1200 RS has officially launched in India. The brand has revealed that the super naked sport bike will be priced at Rs 20.39 Lakh (ex-showroom) in India. The new bike is wrapped under a new engine setup that would generate more power than its predecessors.
The latest flagship bike from Triumph features significant upgrades and a new powertrain, justifying its Rs 2.44 lakh premium over its predecessor. With even sharper performance numbers, the bike can give tough competition to its rivals, such as the Ducati Streetfighter V4 and the KTM 1390 Super Duke R.
The 2025 edition keeps its aggressive styling but brings significant mechanical and technological updates. Here’s everything you need to know about the 2025 Triumph Speed Triple 1200 RS.
Triumph Speed Triple 1200 RS: Design & Dimensions
For the 2025 edition, the design aesthetics remain the same as its predecessors. However, we can see some changes in ergonomics and hardware changes in the bike. While riding the bike, we can see that the handlebars are now wider and a bit taller than the previous generation's model. The front fascia of the bike has a sharp silhouette and a twin LED headlight setup along with sporty LED indicators.
The bike now offers a narrower fuel tank, improving rider comfort, and the motorcycle is now available in an updated palette featuring Jet Black, Granite with Diablo Red, and Granite with Performance Yellow.
Engine & Performance
The all-new 1200 RS has the same engine as that of its previous variant, but the bike has more power and torque. The engine is now more performance-focused with a 1,160 cc inline 3-cylinder liquid-cooled engine. This engine can now produce 183 PS and 128 Nm of torque. The engine pairs with a six-speed gearbox equipped with a slick bi-directional quickshifter for seamless up- and downshifts.
The bike also offers riders the ability to align with different riding modes. These are Rain, Road, Sport, and Track. Riders can customize their riding preferences according to their needs. With such engine upgrades, the bike can cover the distance of 0-60 km in just 3.1 seconds. The top speed of the bike is estimated to be about 250 kmph.
