The Indian two-wheeler market is one of the most competitive and fastest-growing across the globe. In this competitive world, the brand that stands through all contours and challenges is TVS. TVS Motor India has reported that they have achieved record-breaking sales in August 2025. The brand has announced that they have sold around 509,536 units with a 30% year-on-year growth, surpassing the 5 lakh units mark for the first time.
This growth was boosted by the strong performance of bikes across the entire TVS product line. For the 2025 edition, TVS sold out 509,536 units, which is more when compared to 391,588 units in August 2024. TVS continues to consolidate its position as a formidable player in India’s competitive two-wheeler segments, both in EVs and in the ICE portfolio.

The Indian two-wheeler brand saw a growth of 30%, with sales increasing from 378,841 units in August 2024 to 490,788 in August 2025. Even the domestic growth surged, with a 28% increase from 289,073 units in 2024 to 368,862 in August 2025. The brand performance exceeded expectations and signifies its strong position across the two-wheeler market.
The most significant variant that emerged in the August sales is motorcycles. The motorcycle portfolio increases the sales by 30% from 170,486 units in August 2024 to 228,170 units in August 2025. Scooter segments also show important momentum growth of 36% in sales. In August 2024, the brand sold just 163,629 units, while in 2025, it managed to sell around 222,296 in August.
The TVS electric two-wheeler market is the undisputed contender for the 2025 iteration. In August 2025, the brand sold around 25,138 units of the TVS iQube alone. The TVS iQube was one of the best-selling and most popular e-scooters to be sold in August 2025. With such strategic growth despite supply constraints, TVS grew both in domestic and export markets to 18,748 units.

Considering the brand’s M-o-M process, TVS Motor India has reported a total sale of 456,350 units in July 2025. Amid a challenging two-wheeler market tempered by buyer anticipation of GST changes, TVS stood out by crossing the prestigious half-million sales mark. The domestic sales surged by 19.27%, while exports experienced a decline of 5.0% overseas. The most preferable model that shows consistency in the highest sales ever is the e-scooter TVS iQube.
TVS Motor Company’s robust 30% sales growth in August 2025, crossing 5 lakh units for the first time, is a testimony to its strategic product portfolio. The brand captured the market penetration and brand strength with a full adrenaline rush. TVS is poised to continue its upward trajectory in the evolving mobility landscape.
