TVS Motor is making plans to expand its presence in the premium two-wheeler segment. The Indian brand is taking a giant leap to enter the premium sport motorcycle market through Norton Motorcycles. The legendary British-origin Norton Motorcycles is ready to make its official debut in India in April 2026. After five years of strategic ambition and strategic investment, Norton is ready to redefine the premium motorcycle landscape.
TVS Motor India is planning to launch four new models globally under the Norton Motorcycles brand during financial year 2026. The launch will unveil not only flagship superbikes but also locally manufactured adventure models, signifying TVS’s commitment to making luxury performance more accessible and competitive across the nation.
TVS-Norton Strategic Partnership
TVS, the Indian two-wheeler giant, acquired Norton Motorcycles in 2020. The vision was to establish itself as a global market player in the premium category market. The initiative has since seen over Rs 2,200 crores propelled into reviving the British brand. This move includes setting up a high-tech production facility in Solihull, UK, and leveraging Indian manufacturing excellence for select models. India will serve not only as a retail hub but also as a nucleus for manufacturing new adventure motorcycles.
Diverse Lineup: New Models and India-First Production

TVS and Norton Motorcycles will launch the 4 new dedicated models of its new flagship versions of its V4 superbike and all-new mid-size adventure bike at EICMA 2025 on November 4, 2025. The brand will also have the plans to relaunch the twin-cylinder Norton Atlas adventure bike.
The V4 range features the Manx and Manx R that will epitomize the brand’s hallmark performance and technological innovation. On the other hand, the Atlas adventure bike will be manufactured in India. This bike is designed for affordability without compromising Norton’s premium ethos. The Norton Atlas is to be powered by a 600-650 cc liquid-cooled twin, which will be the spearhead in capturing adventure motorcycling fans, especially in markets dominated by rivals like Royal Enfield, Yezdi, and Jawa.

Dealership and Expansion Blueprint
TVS is actively appointing new dealerships across India, ensuring Norton’s network supports premium sales and service experiences from the outset. The company is making plans to carry out logistics and operational services separately as a distribution strategy for Norton. TVS’s ambition is to position Norton as a truly modern, globally competitive motorcycle brand while making thrilling, high-performance machines more affordable for Indian riders.
What’s Ahead?
While April 2026 will see the official debut of four new Norton motorcycles, TVS has hinted at further expansion with additional models set to launch later in the year. These upcoming models are expected to target more accessible segments, broadening Norton’s appeal and offering more accessible sport bikes in the competitive Indian market.
Conclusion
Norton Motorcycles’ April 2026 debut, personified by TVS, is more than a product launch. It is a rebirth of British motorcycling passion combined with Indian dynamism. By upbringing heritage and innovation, TVS and Norton promise an exhilarating era for premium two-wheelers, setting fresh benchmarks for performance, style, and affordability.
