In the recent event, at the Bharat Mobility Expo 2024, TVS, a pioneer in the Indian automotive industry, showcased its latest innovation in electric racing technology: the unveiling of their Racing Electric vehicle under the brand Norten. 

STRUCTURE CONCEPT

At the core of the Racing Electric vehicle lies an avant-garde aluminum frame, ingeniously connecting the motor and rear suspension to the front steering system and suspension. This framework not only enhances structural integrity but also optimizes performance. Additionally, the battery case and motor casing serve as integral structure members, ensuring unparalleled strength and durability. Moreover, with two symmetric battery packs arranged in series, the Racing Electric offers swift and seamless swapping, guaranteeing uninterrupted performance during intense races.

PERFORMANCE
 

With a peak power output of 59 kW at 400 V and an operating voltage of 500 VDC, this electric marvel promises an electrifying performance on the racetrack. The inclusion of a liquid cooling system ensures optimal performance, even under the most demanding conditions. Furthermore, with a maximum motor speed of 5500 RPM and an efficiency rating of 98%, the Racing Electric sets new benchmarks in electric vehicle performance.

The Racing Electric excels in dynamic performance. Its compact wheelbase of 1390mm ensures nimble handling, while the inclusion of Pirelli super cross tires provides superior grip and control on the racetrack. Equipped with Brembo disc brakes on both the front (320mm) and rear (240mm), the Racing Electric guarantees reliable stopping power, instilling confidence in the driver's maneuvers. Moreover, the integration of Ohlins suspension systems, including the FRT 43 at the front and the TTX 36 at the rear, offers unparalleled comfort and stability, even on the most challenging terrains.
