TVS has launched the updated 2026 Apache RTR 160 4V range in India. The new lineup introduces several key features across all variants, which were previously available only on the top-spec model. These updates aim to enhance the motorcycle's appeal and functionality for a broader range of riders.
Key Highlights
- TVS updates 2026 Apache RTR 160 4V with new features across all variants
- All models now include LED lighting and assist and slipper clutch as standard
- Three variants priced from Rs 1.25 lakh to Rs 1.37 lakh
- 159.7cc engine offers two ride modes with different output levels
Key Features and Variants

All variants of the Apache RTR 160 4V now come equipped with a Class-D projector headlamp and LED daytime running lights. The motorcycle also features all-LED lighting and an assist and slipper clutch as standard. These features were earlier exclusive to the highest variant.
The 2026 Apache RTR 160 4V is available in three variants. The entry-level single-channel ABS variant is priced at Rs 1.25 lakh. It comes with telescopic front forks and a digital LCD cluster. The mid-spec dual-channel ABS with USD variant costs Rs 1.31 lakh and includes adjustable levers, while retaining the same digital LCD cluster as the base model. The top-end USD with TFT variant is priced at Rs 1.37 lakh. This variant adds a 5-inch TFT display and traction control for enhanced safety and information display.
Engine and Performance
The Apache RTR 160 4V continues to use the same 159.7cc single-cylinder engine as before. The engine offers two ride modes that change the bike's output. In Sport mode, the engine delivers 17.6hp at 9,250rpm and 14.73Nm at 7,500rpm. In Urban and Rain modes, the output is reduced to 15.6hp at 8,650rpm and 14.1Nm at 7,250rpm. These modes allow riders to adapt the motorcycle's performance to different riding conditions.
Mechanically, there are no changes to the engine or core components. The focus of this update is on expanding features and technology across the range, making advanced equipment more accessible to buyers at different price points.
Pricing and Availability
The updated Apache RTR 160 4V range starts at Rs 1.25 lakh for the base variant and goes up to Rs 1.37 lakh for the top variant. All variants are now available at TVS dealerships across India. The addition of new features across the lineup is expected to strengthen the model's position in the competitive 160cc motorcycle segment.
