As India’s electric two-wheeler market heats up, February 2026 is shaping up to be a significant month for new launches and fresh options hitting showrooms. With companies both big and niche releasing more EV models, buyers will soon have a wider range of electric scooters and bikes. From practical city commuters to sportier, feature-rich rides. This surge reflects growing consumer interest in e-mobility and a broader industry push toward sustainable transport. Here’s a closer look at five popular electric bikes and scooters expected to debut or arrive in India during February.

The Yamaha EC-06 is one of the most anticipated electric scooters that will possibly hit the Indian market in February 2026, positioned as a practical yet capable choice for everyday riders. The EC-06 features a 4-kWh fixed lithium-ion battery pack, which has a claimed IDC range of 160 km on a single charge, significantly higher than many urban EV scooters. This larger battery is paired with an electric motor that delivers a peak output of 6.7 kW (around 9 hp) and a continuous output of about 4.5 kW, helping it balance city-friendly acceleration with efficiency. With an expected price of Rs 1.5 lakh to 1.6 lakh(ex-showroom), this model aims to attract buyers looking for a blend of longer range, practical performance, and modern electric features suited to both short daily errands and occasional longer rides.

Another exciting entry from Yamaha is the Aerox-E, a sporty and bold electric scooter that blends aggressive design cues with strong performance potential. The Aerox-E is expected to have a dual detachable 3 kWh battery system (total 3 kWh) that powers a 9.4 kW electric motor delivering around 48 Nm of torque, giving it a claimed range of about 106 km on a single charge. Moreover, is likely to offer a 5-inch colour TFT instrument cluster with Bluetooth connectivity and turn-by-turn navigation, multiple riding modes (Eco, Standard and Power), plus a Boost function for sharper acceleration and even a reverse mode for manoeuvring in tight spaces. With its bold looks, strong mid-range performance, and tech-rich features, the Aerox-E is likely to appeal to riders seeking a premium electric scooter experience rather than just basic urban mobility.

The TVS Jupiter Electric is expected to launch in February 2026, bringing a familiar and trusted nameplate into the electric scooter space. The electric version is likely to retain the Jupiter’s comfortable ergonomics, upright riding posture, and easy handling, while switching to an electric drivetrain that should deliver smooth, quiet performance suited for daily city use. It is likely to be equipped with a battery pack in the 3-3.5 kWh range, which could offer a real-world range of roughly around 100-120 km once fully charged. Power is expected to come from a hub-mounted electric motor producing around 4-5 kW, focusing more on efficiency and ride comfort than outright speed.

The Okinawa Cruiser Electric is expected to arrive in India in the month of February, It is positioned as a comfort-focused electric scooter with a distinct cruiser-inspired design. Unlike compact commuter EVs, this model is likely to feature a longer and wider body, a relaxed seating posture, and a spacious floorboard, making it better suited for riders who prioritize comfort during daily city rides. The scooter is expected to be powered by a mid-capacity battery pack in the range of 3-3.5 kWh, which could deliver a real-world riding range of around 110 km on a single charge. With competitive pricing anticipated around 1 lakh(ex-showroom), the Okinawa Cruiser Electric could attract buyers looking for a stylish yet practical alternative to conventional commuter electric scooters.

The Suzuki Burgman Electric, which brings a familiar nameplate from the ICE world into the EV space in February 2026. Known traditionally for its premium scooter comfort, the electric version is expected to focus on a refined riding experience with thoughtful features and a smooth power delivery suited to urban commuting. Positioned to offer a more relaxed ride with a hint of sophistication, the Burgman Electric could attract riders seeking comfort-oriented EVs without sacrificing practicality.
With several electric scooters and bikes expected to launch in February 2026, buyers in India will have more choices than ever, from practical city scooters to stylish premium models. As charging infrastructure, battery technology, and prices improve, these new launches show that electric mobility is becoming more common for everyday use. Whether you’re buying your first EV or upgrading, February looks set to bring some exciting option
