Hero MotoCorp India is preparing to expand its portfolio for the commuter series. The company has decided to revamp its popular commuter motorcycle, the Glamour 125, with a refreshed design and updated features. The brand is currently testing the next-gen Hero Glamour, and the real test mule spy shots have surfaced on the internet.
The Glamour 125, with a fully updated model that has recently been spied while taking a road test, created a buzz among enthusiasts. This eagerly awaited all-new Hero Glamour 125 promises significant upgrades in design and performance to maintain its stronghold in the competitive 125cc segment. Let’s take a closer look at what we can expect from the new commuter.
The upcoming Hero Glamour 125 will have an all-new body design with slim contours that might give a sporty presence on the road. With the digital instrument cluster, we can see the heavy ergonomic controls on the handlebars. A feature like cruise control seems to be equipped within the bike's powertrain. A feature that we previously saw on the Hero Maverick 440 and the Hero Xpulse 210.
There is no official confirmation of whether the upcoming Hero Glamour 125 will have an engine update or not. The current model is powered by a 124.7 cc BS-6 air-cooled, 4-stroke engine. This engine is capable of producing 10.53 PS with 10.4 Nm of maximum torque. The bike is claimed to give an estimated mileage of 65 kmpl.
However, there is no update that the bike will use the current engine. Although early leaks suggest refinements aimed at improved efficiency and smoother engine response, possibly incorporating the latest iteration of Hero’s i3S (Idle Start-Stop System) technology to enhance fuel economy in city traffic.
One of the standout changes in the new Glamour 125 is its updated styling. The spy images and reports indicate a sportier and more aggressive design language, including a redesigned front LED headlamp with sleek DRLs. The body contours appear to be sharp to attract young riders. Even the bike is ready to offer rich features like the digital instrument panel, Bluetooth connectivity, wireless charging, i3S technology, engine kill switch, and many more.
For safety, the bikes also worked on the new upgraded suspension setup. With the new configuration, the bike will provide more comfort while riding, and the mileage will be improved. For braking, CBS technology will be used while riding in the fast lane.
The all-new Hero Glamour 125 will have a refreshed body design. It would be worthwhile to watch how it will perform in the market after the official launch. This bike might set the new trend to introduce top features like cruise control on the daily commuter bike.
