In 2022, Hero MotoCorp launched its electric scooter brand, Vida, aiming to enter and strengthen its position in India’s growing e-scooter market. Vida V1 was the first electric scooter by Hero’s electric sub-brand. The brand is preparing to launch a new product, Vida VX2, on July 1, 2025, to expand its electric scooter lineup. Before the official launch, images of the upcoming scooter were released online, highlighting the design and specification details of the two-wheeler.

Vida VX2 Design & Features
Based on shared images, the overall design and styling of the VX2 e-scooter are similar to Vida V2, which was showcased at the 2025 Bharat Mobility Global Expo. It is painted in a bright yellow shade and features a similar headlight, LED taillight, and 12-inch alloy wheels setup to the Vida V2 scooter.
However, the upcoming Vida electric scooter seems to have a smaller TFT display than the V2 scooter’s 7-inch TFT console. It also has a single-piece seat and a physical key slot, indicating its affordable pricing. The e-scooter is said to have a conventional key rather than a keyless start function.
Battery & Powertrain
Vida has not revealed the information about its upcoming VX2 electric scooter, but the images leaked hint that the model will have multiple battery pack options. Regarding Vida V2, it is currently available in the market in three battery pack options: 2.2 kWh, 3.4 kWh, and 3.94 kWh. It sports a telescopic fork in front, dual shock absorbers in the rear, and a disc brake on the front wheel.
Vida VX2 Price in India
The expected price of the Vida VX2 electric scooter in India is expected to be around Rs 79,000. Based on the trademark filing, Vida can possibly launch three variants of the VX2 electric scooter, including VX2 Go, VX2 Plus, and VX2 Pro. After its launch in the Indian electric scooter market, the Vida VX2 will compete against TVS iQube, Bajaj Chetak, and Ather Rizta.
