VinFast VF7 Spied in India Before Its Official Launch
While VinFast lists its VF7 SUV in Brahminy White, Crimson Red, and Neptune Grey color options, the model spied was painted in Jet Black. The surfaced images of VinFast VF7 show the vehicle's front profile, alloy wheels, and front door.
During the festive season, VinFast is planning to launch its all-electric SUV, called VF7, in India. However, before its official launch in the country, the model was spied in Mumbai on a flatbed. The VF7 will be the first model from a Vietnamese electric vehicle manufacturer, and the prices for the model are expected to be revealed soon in the coming months.

VinFast VF7 Spy Shots
While VinFast lists its VF7 SUV in Brahminy White, Crimson Red, and Neptune Grey color options, the model spied was painted in Jet Black. The surfaced images of VinFast VF7 show the vehicle's front profile, alloy wheels, and front door.
While the VinFast showcased its VF7 in Crimson Red finish, 20-inch alloy wheels, and low-profile Goodyear Eagle F1 tires at Auto Expo 2025, the recently spied model has a new design 19-inch alloy wheel wrapped with 245/50 R19 Apollo Aspire tires. The smaller wheel size for India-spec VF7 makes sense as many automobile manufacturers do the same to offer better ride quality.
The spy shot also reveals the upcoming VF7 SUV has a camera-based ADAS suite and a camera on the wing mirror, possibly for a 360-degree camera setup. The front profile also gives a glimpse of the touchscreen infotainment setup, but it's unclear if the screen is 15 inches or 12.9 inches in size.
VinFast VF7 Launch & Price
VinFast VF7 is available in international markets in two variants: Eco and Plus. Both the variants of electric SUV are powered by a 75.3kWh battery pack. The VF7 Eco trim comes mated with 204 hp and 310 Nm of torque-mounted motor in front, while the VF7 Plus variant gets a dual motor setup to produce 354 hp and 500 Nm of torque. The Vietnamese automaker claims that the Eco trim can provide a maximum range of 450 km, and the Plus variant offers 431 km of maximum range.
According to sources, VinFast may launch the VF7 electric SUV in October 2025 in India, and the model will directly rival the BYD Atto 3. The BYD Atto 3 is currently priced at Rs 25 to Rs 34 lakh and comes with 49.92 kWh and 360.48 kWh battery pack options with a maximum range of 521 km. VinFast has set up its manufacturing plant in Tamil Nadu, which will help keep the price of all-electric SUVs affordable. Considering it, the upcoming VinFast VF7 can be priced between Rs 20 to Rs 30 lakh.
