The Hyundai Exter facelift offers a range of powertrain options. The HX 8 is available with petrol manual, petrol AMT, and CNG manual transmissions. The HX 10 is offered only with the petrol AMT powertrain. Both variants share the same 1.2-litre, four-cylinder, naturally aspirated petrol engine. The HX 8 also provides a CNG option, catering to buyers seeking fuel efficiency.

Externally, the HX 8 and HX 10 look almost identical. Both feature bi-function projector headlights, H-shaped LED DRLs, a refreshed black grille, and silver skid plates. They ride on 15-inch diamond-cut alloy wheels and include black body cladding, roof rails, a wing-shaped spoiler, LED tail lamps, and a shark-fin antenna. These design elements give both variants a premium and rugged appearance.
