The last year had been packed with a series of launches for the Indian two-wheeler industry. We acknowledged multiple introductions in a variety of segments, and guess what! This year’s going to be busier. The Indian automotive market, particularly focusing on the two-wheelers, usually prepares for a set of debuts from the commuter category targeting a mass. However, 2026 might have a completely flipped story with launch timelines comprising culminated displacement, powertrain, and segment categories. For the duration of two months, from January to February, four different launches are anticipated, and surprisingly, all are within the mid-displacement range. Here’s the list of the same.

For starters, let’s begin with the smallest displacement model, the KTM. "390 Adventure R" The 390 Adventure R has been under consideration for a long time, although it receives a tentative date for the price reveal, and so does the dispatch of the inventory for the ongoing year. The 390 Adventure R is basically a hardcore off-road alternative to the street-focused standard and X versions of the 390 Adventure. In terms of the mechanics, the 390 Adventure R shares its displacement with its siblings, which is a 398 cc liquid-cooled single-cylinder 4V DOHC mill. Nevertheless, as compared to the street-biased touring hardware, the 390 Adventure R packs long-travelled, up-to-230 mm, fully adjustable upside-down (USD) open cartridge front forks. The rear spoked tyres are also wider by 18 inches, and to further support the off-road dynamics, the ground clearance has been raised to 277 mm. On the design front, the Dakar Rally-inspired rugged styling has been carried over, comprehending the character of the bike. Talking of the prices, an increase of about 20 to 50,000 rupees is expected considering the upgrades and a predefined purpose.

The BMW “F450 GS” is a replacement for the “G310 GS”, incorporating a bigger displacement of 420cc liquid-cooled dual-cylinder 8V DOHC unit, which produces the power figure of 47 hp and peak torque up to 43 Nm. These figures are adapted through a uniquely featured 135-degree crankpin offset, enabling a sporty personality. To address the manufacturing, the F450 GS is being developed as a collaborative project under the TVS Hosur Plant in Chennai by BMW Motorrad and TVS Racing. Having said that, there will be a TVS version of the F450 GS making its way later on. The F450 GS shares its design with the bigger sibling, the “R1300 GS”, flaunting the X-shaped daytime-running LEDs (DRLs) and dual-pod LED projectors with auto-intensity adjustability. This middleweight mountain tourer underpins the steel tubular frame weighing up to 178 kg in order to manage the body-to-weight ratio. On the hardware front, the F450 GS sits on a front fully adjustable 43 mm upside-down (USD) open cartridge front and gas-charged multi-step preload adjustable rear monoshock suspension. Additionally, the highlighted feature list of this bike is as follows:
The price range of this bike will range between ₹4.00 and 5.00 Lakh (ex-showroom), followed by its TVS replica that’ll obviously be more affordable.

The Crossfire "Storr 500" is an adventure touring version of the Crossfire 500 series. The Storr 500 was supposed to debut in 2025 for India. However, due to last-minute changes in plans by the Austria-originated brand, there could only be one specialised media ride for limited people abroad, limiting the model’s capabilities. The Storr 500 utilises the same 486 cc liquid-cooled dual-cylinder 8V DOHC displacement as the Crossfire series, although the tuning is on the linear side. In the hardware department, a long travel 180 mm front fully adjustable upside-down (USD) open cartridge suspension ensures perfect damping reinforced by a 19-inch wider front spoked wheel for accurate gripping. The bike’s trailing ability is backed by a 180mm ground clearance, and for the rider-friendly ergonomics, an extended wheelbase of up to 2171mm elongates the chassis. The overhaul styling is accentuated by aerodynamically enhanced tank shrouds, submerged to the larger headlamp cowl. Furthermore, the major features which are on offer are:
The pricing of Storr 500 can go beyond ₹5.75 Lakh (ex-showroom).

The Royal Enfield “Bullet 650” is a continuation of the long-lived legacy of the "Bullet 350" with a bigger displacement. The engine is a shared component of “Classic 650” with potentially minor tuning differences in fuelling for different ride feels. The twin-cylinder 8V power source continues to deliver the power output of 46.39 bhp and torque up to 52.3 Nm. Moreover, the cycle parts also remain exactly the same. Additionally, the signature Bullet fascia has been encarved with a gloss-painted tank, cycle parts, and hand-painted pinstriping, with the stepped-up single-piece seat replacing the two-piece unit. Into the bargain, the stance is more upright, portraying a rugged yet traditional styling. Having said that, the body-to-weight ratio, kerb weight, and other dimensions remain untouched, adding two different colour options. The handlebars are a raised setup for aggressive ergonomics, further complemented by a set of electronics and hardware incorporated within all the existing 650cc Royal Enfield lineup. The bike more or less is a Classic 650 disguised under the Bullet’s livery.
The price for the Bullet 650 is expected to be more accessible as compared to the Classic 650, holding the price tag which could actually start from ₹3.06 Lakh and go up to 3.40 Lakh (ex-showroom), which makes a difference of almost 23,000 rupees in on-road costs.
Most of the bikes in this list are already showcased in some events, whether in India or overseas, and their unveils do promise a value for money package focusing on the Indian automotive market. In addition, the exact dates of any of these models are not out, but as they’ve already been on multiple showcases, the launch does not seem to be delayed any longer.
