Few years back, my brother bought Maruti XL6. I travelled for 200km and the performance was decent in this price range. The mileage is good of 20 impl. And it may varies from City to highway. The exterior look is decent. But, XL6 lack in offloading. In this price range, other options are better. Like Bolero, Scorpio etc can be used for offloading. XL6 is bigger in size. It is not hard and tough. Overall performance is decent.
