Maruti XL6 Highlights
Maruti Suzuki XL6 is priced from ₹ 9.9 Lakh onwards and goes upto ₹ 11.80 Lakh. Maruti Suzuki XL6 was launched in 2019 and represents the next step in the people carrier segment for Maruti Suzuki. The XL6 is based on the Maruti Ertiga but it gives the experience of a premium model six-seater car with four variants on offer with one engine and two transmission options. The XL6 has totally different front design than the Ertiga while the rear remains the same with addition of black colour strip above the boot lid. The headlamps of the XL6 include quad LED lights with integrated DRLs which seamlessly join the aggressive chrome grille and includes body cladding on the sides to give it a more rugged look.
Inside the six-seater MPV has the captain seat in the middle row which indicates a premium segment car. and the features include mix of luxury, entertainment and safety like cruise control, automatic headlamps, 7-inch touchscreen infotainment screen with smartphone connectivity and many more. The interior of the XL6 has all-black theme for the customer, while the dashboard and door pads look premium with stone accents and silver highlights. Heartect platform is the safety framework which includes dual front airbags, ABS (Anti-Lock Braking System) with EBD (Electronic Brake Force Distribution), front seatbelts with pre-tensioners and force limiter, ISOFIX, hill hold assist, ESP (Electronic Stability Program), high speed warning alert, driver/co-driver seat belt reminder and reverse parking sensors as a standard fitment. The customer can choose from six colour options - premium silver, magma grey, auburn red, khaki, artic white and nexa blue. Operated by a BS-VI compliant K15 petrol engine, this vehicle works with Smart Hybrid technology that generates 103.5bhp and 138Nm of torque and can be had in either a five-speed manual or a four-speed automatic delivering fuel efficiency of 19kmpl in manual version and 17.99kmpl in auto transmission. There are no direct rivals for the XL6 but Kia Carens will be a competition in the future while it still competes with top versions of compact SUVs like Mahindra XUV300, Tata Nexon, Kia Sonet etc. and sedans like the Honda City, Maruti Ciaz and Hyundai Verna.
