Maruti's Nexa records lifetime sales of 25 lakh units; Baleno turns out to be the favourite

Nexa crosses 25 lakh marke in uint sales

Maruti Suzuki Nexa has achieved a new milestone; more than 25 lakh units were sold across its dealerships. This achievement has been made within 9 years of the opening of premium dealerships in mid-July 2015. The success comes after another record sales of more than 4.2 lakh units achieved in the previous 12 months, starting from 20.8 lakh units last year, showing a steep rise in the growth of the premium outlets.

Baleno Steals the Show - Ignis & Ciaz Follows

With the S-cross getting replaced by the Grand Vitara, Suzuki now sells 8 of its vehicles through its premium dealership, Nexa, these vehicles include Maruti Suzuki Baleno, Ignis, Ciaz, Grand Vitara, XL6, Fronx, Jimny, and Invicto.

Maruti Suzuki Nexa Lifetime Units Sold

Nexa dealership achieving the milestone of crossing the 25 lakhs unit sales mark the standout performer for the brand is their class defining hatchback, Maruti Suzuki Baleno. The Baleno holds the top mantle with 56.41% of Nexa sales followed by the Ignis with 10.71% share and Ciaz with 7.11% share. Thus, making Baleno the favourite among the Nexa customer.

The Growth of Nexa

Seeing the Year on Year sales of various models offered at Nexa, it can be deduced that the individual Year on Year sales of some of the models have not seen a massive spike, might have declined for some as well, but the overall sales of Nexa has seen a massive spike and, hence a massive share in Maruti’s sales of 31.89% for the FY24 and a lifetime share of 19.11%.

Nexa Cars

Started in the year 2015 with only 40 showrooms across India, Maruti Suzuki Nexa has grown exponentially to have 500 showrooms across 300 cities in the country, with about 30% of the sales coming from non-urban areas. Eyeing the rise in demand for affordable 4-wheelers in the country, Maruti Suzuki will be aiming to further expand its reach in the country with new workshops and showrooms in more states and cities.
