Skoda Superb Petrol

The Superb is fantastic for long-distance drives, thanks to its comfortable seats and enormous boot. However, I find the steering to be a bit uninspiring. If you’re someone who loves engaging drives, you might feel it’s too focused on comfort rather than sporty handling​.

While the Superb has a premium feel inside, the suspension can be quite firm on uneven roads, especially with larger wheels. It detracts from the otherwise smooth experience, which was disappointing given the car’s focus on comfort​.

I’m impressed by the tech and the sheer comfort of the cabin. The rear USB option is a welcome addition for city commutes. However, the price increase compared to the previous generation is a bit steep. While it’s practical, the higher trims might make you consider premium alternatives like the Audi A6​.
