The top-spec Iconic variant of the Duster weighs 1,380 kg. This model includes features such as automatic climate control, seat ventilation, and a modern infotainment system. During the tests, the AC was set between 22 and 23 degrees Celsius, the blower speed was set to four, and seat ventilation was used at level three. All other functions, including the infotainment system, were operated as they would be in regular driving.

Fuel Efficiency Test Results

The Duster 1.3-litre turbo-petrol with a six-speed manual transmission underwent standardised fuel efficiency tests. In city driving, the SUV returned a mileage of 9.58 kmpl. On the highway, it achieved 18.53 kmpl. The multi-information display (MID) showed slightly higher figures, with 11.1 kmpl in the city and 19.2 kmpl on the highway.

The tests followed a fixed procedure, ensuring consistency across all vehicles. Settings such as air conditioning, seat ventilation, and drive modes were kept at default or typical usage levels.

Upcoming Powertrain Option

Renault plans to introduce a petrol hybrid version of the Duster around the festive season. This will expand the Duster’s powertrain lineup to three options, offering more choices for buyers seeking efficiency and performance.
