Royal Enfield Classic 500 is one of the most popular motorcycles among riders of all age groups. Over the years, it has retained its vintage look as the manufacturer has remained loyal to its iconic design language. The front fascia features a round headlamp flanked by two parking lights on both sides. There is a slight overuse of chrome to impart a premium feel; however, at no point, it interferes with the retro look. In the standard model, you do not get a pillion seat, and the instrument cluster is basic bearing the speedometer, analogue trip-meter, turn-indicator, along with fuel-injection indicator. Powering the Classic 500 is a robust four stroke,single-cylinder, air-cooled, 499cc engine churning out a commendable 27.2 bhp maximum power and a peak torque of 41.2 Nm. A five-speed constant mesh gearbox remains synced to the motor. Though the power may not amaze you, it supplies you oodles of torque even at the lower rev range. It is one of the factors, veterans are die-hard fans of Classic 500 and do not be surprised when the dealer asks you to wait for about six months for owning this bike.
