Yamaha R7 super bike price in India is expected at an estimated Rs 10.00 lakhs, which is expected to be launched in the second half of 2022 or in early 2023.

Yamaha India has teased a new video that shows its upcoming range of super bikes such as the Yamaha R7 fully faired bike and the MT-09 hyper-naked motorcycle. It is a sign of the possibility that these much-awaited super bikes are expected to be launched in India soon.

New additions in the Yamaha premium motorcycle segment could arrive with its big bikes like the R7 and the MT-09. Yamaha earlier had stated about bringing big Yamaha bikes like R7 and MT-07 to India, but in restricted numbers. Seeing the teaser video, it can be said that Yamaha India is coming up with the MT-09 instead of the MT-07 naked super bike in India. An unveiling in 2022 will let the brand escape from OBD-2 regulations that will be pressed into effect from the 1st of April in 2023.

2022 Yamaha R7 Engine:

The new Yamaha R7 2022 model engine derives power from a 689cc liquid cooled twin cylinder motor that churns out 73.4 PS of peak power and 67 Nm of max torque, and it is tuned to a six speed gearbox, paired with a slipp and assist clutch function and quick shift mechanism. With the latest Yamaha R7, riders can await for a real super sport adventure experience and feeling overall. This R7 Yamaha powertrain has a linear torque with easy flow of acceleration that makes sure of optimal delivery of power and performance all through the entire revving bandwidth.

The Yamaha R7 super motorbike suspension system is fitted with KYB inverted forks at the front with adjustability feature for compression, preload, and rebound, whereas the R7 bike has mono shock suspension at the rear end.

In terms of the R7 brake hardware, the braking duties are carried out by 298 mm dual discs at the front and a 245 mm disc brake at the rear end of the bike.

Yamaha R7 will rival the 650cc bike segment such as the Honda CBR650R and Kawasaki Ninja 650 in the Indian market.
