The electronic package of the bike has slide control, anti-wheelie control, launch control, unified braking system and banking sensitive traction control.The bike has Yamaha’s Deltabox frame which comes with the 998cc cross plane four-cylinder engine that churns out 197bhp of power at 13,500rpm and 112.4Nm of peak torque at 11,500rpm. It comes mated to a six-speed transmission. The YZF-R1 comes with 43mm inverted front forks and a rear monoshock.Yamaha YZF-R1 is available in two colours – black and blue. It gives competition to the Honda CBR1000R, Kawasaki Ninja ZX-10R, BMW S1000RR, and the Suzuki GSX-R1000.
