Latest Updates

According to the latest updates, the exact dates and specifications are yet to be revealed. However, Hero Xoom 160 is set to launch in the Financial Year 2025, though we expect it to likely launch in January 2025. Hero MotoCorp first showcased this scooter in EICMA 2023. The price of this scooter will start from Rs 1.45 Lakh onwards.

Introduction

The Hero Xoom 160 is Hero’s upcoming adventure maxi-scooter for the 150-200cc category. This is designed for both daily urban use and for adventure touring. It is powered by a powerful engine, modern features and muscular bodywork with a central spine.

Engine and Power

This scooter is powered by a 156 cc, liquid-cooled, single-cylinder engine with added functionalities such as silent start and stop feature and Hero’s i3S feature. This engine is expected to produce a max power of 14 bhp at 8,000 rpm and a max torque of 13.7 Nm at 6,500 rpm.

Mileage and Fuel-Efficiency

The company has not yet revealed the exact mileage of this scooter but we expect it will provide around 30-40 kmpl.

Xoom 160 is easy to live with everyday. Engine is refined and mileage stays decent. Suspension handles usual city roads well. Seat is comfortable. Brakes are responsive. Styling is clean and practical. Only suspension feels a bit firm on rough roads. Overall a very usable daily commuter.
