Triumph has launched the 2025 version of Speed Twin 900 in India for a price tag of Rs 8.89 Lakh (ex-showroom). This updated model is powered by the same 900cc liquid-cooled parallel-twin engine, which delivers 65 bhp and 80 Nm of torque. Talking about the design, this time Triumph has updated the bodywork of the Speed Twinn 900 similar to its sibling Speed Twin 1200 with Rs 10,000 increment in price compared to its predecessor.
This motorcycle is available in three attractive color combinations:
Aluminium Silver / Carnival Red / Jet Black
Pearl White / Maui Blue / Tangerine Orange
Phantom Black / Aurum Gold
Key Updates
The 2025 model features a new fuel tank with larger knee recesses, edgier side panels, and a flatter seat for better comfort. The rear section has been redesigned with sleeker tail lights and LED turn indicators. There is also an update on the instrument cluster which is elevated a little bit to provide better visibility to the rider. This console is paired with a new LCD unit with optional Bluetooth connectivity. Additionally, this motorcycle has more modern features such as lean-sensitive ABS and traction control. The powertrain remains unchanged, and the same engine is paired with a 5-speed gearbox.
In terms of suspension, it is now updated with USD forks from Marzocchi at the front and upgraded piggy-back rear shockers for better handling control and vehicular dynamics. The rear suspension travel has been slightly reduced to improve handling characteristics, while larger 320mm brake discs and radial calipers provide better stopping power. The motorcycle rides on Michelin Road Classic tyres.
Rivals
At its price point, the Speed Twin 900 faces limited competition. The Kawasaki Z900RS is notably more expensive due to its CBU status, while the newly launched Brixton Cromwell 1200 and Triumph’s own Bonneville T100 are its closest rivals.
