The 2025 Triumph Tiger 1200 continues to feature the powerful 1160 cc three-cylinder T-Plane engine, maintaining its robust 150 bhp and 130 Nm output. However, significant updates enhance the engine’s smoothness and low-end torque. Improvements to the crankshaft, alternator rotor, and engine balance increase inertia, reducing vibrations for a smoother ride. Additionally, a recalibrated engine and updated clutch design enable smoother engagement, especially when shifting into the first gear, resulting in better low-end tractability and increased overall performance.
Comfort and Ergonomic Upgrades
Enhanced comfort is at the forefront of the 2025 Tiger 1200 GT Pro and Rally Pro models. Both variants now include damped handlebars and risers from the Explorer versions, improving mirror visibility and reducing vibrations. An updated seat design provides a flatter, more spacious profile, ideal for extended journeys, while a low-seat option can lower the position by 20 mm from the standard 830 mm on the GT Pro and 855 mm on the Rally Pro.
The new Active Preload Reduction feature further increases accessibility, enabling the rear suspension to lower by 20 mm as the bike slows to a stop, improving the seat height adjustability for riders. Additionally, foot peg adjustments increase cornering ground clearance for enhanced stability on turns.
Advanced Features
The updated Triumph Tiger 1200 retains a suite of advanced features that enhance rider control and safety. Key components include:
- Showa Semi-Active Suspension: Premium suspension setup provides adaptive comfort.
- Brembo Stylema Brakes: High-performance braking with monobloc callipers.
- Cornering ABS and Traction Control with IMU: Enhanced safety and control, especially on sharp turns.
- Six Riding Modes and Shift Assist: Optimized riding experience across various terrains.
- Adaptive Cornering Lights: Improved visibility for nighttime rides.
- 7-inch TFT Display: Integrated with Bluetooth, keyless ignition, and multiple information settings.
