The Indian cruiser bike market heats up in the 2025 season. With the new entrant, the 2025 Yezdi Roadster has set new benchmarks for the evergreen Royal Enfield Meteor 350. Both bikes promise the perfect blend of style, retro-nostalgia, and performance. But which one is the better option to choose? In one corner stands the newly refined Roadster MK2, and on the other hand, sits the Royal Enfield Meteor 350.

This feature dives deep into design, performance, specs, colors, price, and all the intangibles that separate the true value king from the pretender. With distinct personalities and gearhead fan followings, these icons line up for a comparison worthy of the cruiser crown. Let’s check it out in detail.

Yezdi Roadster vs. Royal Enfield Meteor 350: Design and Styling

2025 Yezdi Roadster vs. Royal Enfield Meteor 350: Differences Explained

The all-new 2025 Yezdi Roadster MK2 revolves around the retro-modern look with rugged new rear fenders. The bike now comes with an option to remove a modular single pillion seat. With a few subtle changes, Roadster carries the same British design hierarchy. The front features a retro-round LED headlamp and tilt-adjustable LCD dash, adding to its contemporary yet nostalgic appeal.

Fast forward to the Royal Enfield Meteor 350, which offers sweeping lines, dollops of chrome accents, and a low-slung seat with a plush backrest. The bike has a typical cruise appeal with large, round headlights from the 90s. Although the bike, enhanced by updated ergonomic handlebars, no longer gives a modern experience.

Engine, Power, and Performance

The new Yezdi Roadster is powered by a 334 cc single-cylinder Alpha 2 engine that is incorporated with the latest fuel injection and DOHC technology. This liquid-cooled engine can produce 29.6 HP of power and 29.9 Nm of peak torque. Paired with a 6-speed gearbox, its quick acceleration and high-speed poise make it the sportier, more dynamic cruiser, with an edge for thrill-seekers and highway chargers alike.

The Meteor 350 comes with a 349 cc single-cylinder, air-cooled J-series engine that produces 20.2 HP of power along with 27 Nm of torque. A 5-speed gearbox keeps things simple but limits outright speed compared to the Yezdi. Although the Roadster might have an upper hand in performance, the Meteor 350 gives more comfort and better rideability. Thanks to its 15-liter tank capacity, the bike claims better mileage than the Roadster MK2.

Chassis, Suspension, and Ride

The Meteor’s 41 mm forks and bigger 19-inch front wheel ensure superior ride quality and absorb jerks better while riding over the potholes. Rear twin-shock setups on both guarantee stability, though the Meteor edges out in seat height, which is especially welcome for shorter riders. Braking is robust on both bikes, with dual-channel ABS standard.

Yezdi Roadster MK2 vs. Royal Enfield Meteor 350: Features

2025 Yezdi Roadster vs. Royal Enfield Meteor 350: Differences Explained

The recently launched Yezdi Roadster MK2 gives a more modern approach than the Meteor 350. The bike comes with a modern LCD console with adjustable angles and digital readouts. LED DRLs and twin exhaust sharpen its aspirational presence.

The Meteor does not have modern aesthetics. It still carries a tripper navigation system, a floating LCD, classy switchgear, and even tubeless tires. Its LED taillights and analog speedometer create a blend of retro and new-age features, focusing on rider comfort and better mileage.

Pricing and Variants

The 2025 Yezdi Roadster MK2 starts at Rs 2.10 Lakh (ex-showroom) in India, with variant prices going up to Rs 2.26 Lakh, depending upon color and trim level.

The Meteor 350 starts at Rs 2.08 Lakh (ex-showroom) for the Fireball variant and tops out at Rs 2.33 Lakh for the range-topping Supernova.

Conclusion

The 2025 Yezdi Roadster is an updated modern look for its predecessor. Whereas, the Royal Enfield Meteor 350 carries the old-school dad's bike look. Both offer British classic cruiser appeal, but when it comes to the actual verdict to buy, then the Roadster MK2 is the best option to choose. However, if you are a fan of RE, then the Meteor 350 has an edge, as it comprises better options at the entry-level cruiser segment. Meteor 350 has everything that a regular typical cruiser bike needs, as well as refined performance and better mileage and efficiency.
