2026 Skoda Kodiaq Launched in India at Rs 36.99 Lakh With Level-2 ADAS

Skoda has launched the 2026 Kodiaq SUV in India, starting at Rs 36.99 lakh (ex-showroom) for the Lounge 5-seater variant. The new Kodiaq introduces Level-2 Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) in Skoda’s India lineup, available on the Sportline and Selection L&K variants. The top-end Selection L&K 7-seater is priced at Rs 46.99 lakh, while the Sportline 7-seater comes in at Rs 44.99 lakh.

Pricing and Variant Details

The 2026 Skoda Kodiaq range begins with the Lounge variant, a 5-seater model featuring a large 786-litre boot. This entry-level version includes a 2.0-litre TSI petrol engine, producing 201 HP and 320 Nm of torque. It is paired with a 7-speed DSG automatic transmission and a 4X4 system. Standard features include Grey Suedia upholstery, a sliding panoramic sunroof, a two-spoke leather-wrapped steering wheel, paddle shifters, acoustic insulation, three-zone Climatronic climate control, a steering-mounted gear selector, and premium soft-touch plastics.

The Sportline and Selection L&K variants offer a 7-seater configuration. The Sportline variant, priced at Rs 44.99 lakh, now includes features previously exclusive to the Selection L&K, such as a 360-degree camera, Intelligent Park Assist, and a front grille with a horizontal light strip. Additional Sportline features include gloss black exterior elements, Black Suedia interiors, a sporty three-spoke leather steering wheel, aluminium pedals, and paddle shifters.

New Features and Technology

The 2026 Kodiaq is the first Skoda in India to feature Level-2 ADAS. This system is available only on the Sportline and Selection L&K variants. ADAS features include LED Matrix Headlights with Adaptive Front-lighting System (AFS), Adaptive Cruise Control, Front Assist with warning and braking, Lane Assist, Side Assist (blind-spot detection and lane-change assist), Rear Traffic Alert, and Exit Warning System.

The top-spec Selection L&K variant, priced at Rs 46.99 lakh, offers Cognac leather upholstery, Ergo Seats with pneumatic massage, ventilation, heating, and power adjustment. It also features the Laurin & Klement insignia on the steering wheel and other luxury touches.

All variants of the 2026 Kodiaq are powered by the same 2.0-litre TSI petrol engine with 201 HP and 320 Nm, mated to a 7-speed DSG transmission and 4X4 drivetrain. The Kodiaq continues to be assembled at Skoda’s Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar facility.
