This marks a reduction of CNY 104,900 (about Rs 14 lakh) compared to the previous A6L model, reflecting heightened competition from Chinese electric vehicles.

The China-specific 2026 Audi A6L retains the overall silhouette of the global short-wheelbase A6. It comes with Matrix LED headlights and connected LED taillights, similar to the global version. Unique to the Chinese model are redesigned front and rear bumpers, alloy wheels up to 21 inches, and illuminated Audi logos at both ends. Inside, the A6L features a China-specific steering wheel, but the dashboard layout remains consistent with the global model. The sedan offers an 11.9-inch digital cockpit, a 14.5-inch infotainment screen, a co-driver’s entertainment screen, and a large head-up display. Advanced driver assistance systems include 28 autonomous features, 7+2 airbags, a collapsible hood, and bumper cushioning.

Additional amenities include semi-concealed door handles, a 21.1 sq-ft panoramic sunroof with 112 RGB lights, a 16-speaker Bang & Olufsen sound system, rear-wheel steering, and air suspension with adjustable ride height. Audi also plans to introduce a wagon version, the A7L, in China in the future.

Powertrain and Manufacturing Details

The 2026 Audi A6L is built on the PPC architecture and is produced through the FAW-Audi joint venture. Engine options start with a 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine delivering up to 268 bhp, paired with a 7-speed dual-clutch transmission. Buyers can choose Audi’s Quattro all-wheel-drive system. Higher variants feature a 3.0-liter V6 petrol engine producing up to 362 bhp, also with Quattro AWD.
