Audi has taken the wraps off its futuristic E Concept, marking a pivotal moment in the brand's electrification journey. Unveiled globally with a bold new identity, the Audi E Concept ushers in a fresh design language and advanced technology, establishing itself as the new benchmark for luxury electric vehicles in the premium segment.
The standout figure is its claimed range of 700 km on a single charge, setting a new high for production-intent EVs in the luxury league. The E Concept also promises rapid charging capability, an intelligent digital platform, and segment-defining levels of performance, making it a compelling proposition for forward-thinking buyers.

Audi's E Concept sports an all-electric powertrain with a 109 kWh battery, utilizing advanced NMC cell chemistry to deliver over 700 km of range (CLTC cycle) on a full charge. Its rapid-charging 800V electrical architecture allows for a 320–370 km top-up in just 10 minutes. The SUV features dual electric motors producing up to 671 horsepower (500 kW), enabling all-wheel drive and a 0–100 kmph sprint in just 5 seconds.
Talking about its dimension, the E Concept stands out with its premium SUV stature—spanning 5,057 mm in length and 2,024 mm in width and sporting a generous wheelbase of 3,060 mm for optimal cabin comfort.

While getting behind the wheel, the E Concept is a showcase of Audi’s latest interface and sustainable luxury. Developed at Audi’s Beijing Design Studio, the cabin blends wood, microfiber, and a wraparound digital dashboard.
Key features include a full-width touchscreen, digital mirrors, a smartphone interface, and an AI-backed Audi Assistant for seamless cabin control. Details such as facial recognition and a touch-sensitive control bar enrich personalization and driver engagement.

The Audi E Concept spearheads Audi’s new “AUDI” sub-brand, launched in partnership with SAIC and tailored for the Chinese market. Audi has confirmed that the E Concept and its derivatives, including SUVs, estates, and future sedans, are currently intended exclusively for China.
Local production is set to begin in 2025, with multiple models based on the E Concept entering showrooms there from mid-2025 onward.
At present, Audi’s E Concept and its subsequent production models are designed for the Chinese market only, with no official plans confirmed for an India launch. Audi is expanding its EV portfolio in India with local assembly of models like the Q6 e-tron and is hinting at future launches.
The E Concept specifically remains focused on China due to its strategic partnership and market demands. Indian luxury EV enthusiasts will have to wait and watch for any shift in Audi’s global EV strategy, as the brand currently prioritizes high-volume targets and tailored products for China.
The Audi E Concept represents a bold leap into the future of electric mobility with its cutting-edge technology, impressive range, and innovative digital interface. It sets a new benchmark in luxury EVs. While India is yet to see its arrival, the E Concept's debut signals Audi's commitment to electrification and advanced driving experiences worldwide.
