Bentley Motors reported an operating profit of €216 million for 2025, despite facing external trade challenges and non-recurring accounting effects. The British luxury automaker achieved its seventh consecutive year of profitability, with revenue totaling €2.6 billion. This figure represents a one percent decrease compared to the previous year. Bentley managed to offset a five percent decline in customer deliveries through disciplined pricing, a richer mix of derivatives, and continued growth in demand for Mulliner bespoke models.
Key Highlights
- Bentley reported €216 million operating profit and €2.6 billion revenue for 2025
- Customer deliveries fell five percent mainly due to market contraction in China
- Bentayga remained the brand’s best-selling model with Speed variant entering key markets
- Pyms Lane factory transformation continues with BEV assembly line and new Paint Shop opening soon
- Bentley to cut about 275 positions as part of electrification and efficiency program
Financial Performance and Market Factors

The Crewe-based manufacturer posted an operating return on sales of 8.3 percent. The result was impacted by several factors, including costs related to the Volkswagen Group's decision to discontinue a D-segment platform, U.S. tariffs, and adverse foreign exchange movements. Excluding these elements, Bentley stated that its underlying business remained strong. The drop in customer deliveries was mainly due to ongoing market contraction in China. However, higher demand for Speed and Mulliner derivatives, which have greater margins, helped maintain revenue quality.
The Bentayga continued as Bentley's best-selling model. The Bentayga Speed variant entered key markets at the end of 2025. The newly introduced Bentley Supersports, which debuted at the New York Motor Show, is already fully allocated before its first deliveries later this year.
Electrification and Factory Transformation
Bentley is progressing with the transformation of its carbon-neutral Pyms Lane factory. The A1 building, the oldest on site, is nearing completion of its conversion into a future battery electric vehicle (BEV) assembly line. The Design Centre, which opened in July 2025, is now fully operational. A new Paint Shop, offering nearly 100 individual colour options, is scheduled to open later this year.
As part of a wider efficiency program, Bentley has begun a consultation process that could see about 275 positions removed from its management, agency, and non-manufacturing workforce. This move prepares the company for its next phase of electrification.
Dr. Frank-Steffen Walliser, Chairman and CEO, described 2025 as a pivotal year for Bentley. He emphasized the company's preparation for the next generation of vehicles, including an upcoming all-electric model. Walliser stated that these actions, along with ongoing investments and the Beyond100+ strategy, will help Bentley stay financially resilient and strategically focused for the future of luxury vehicles.
