BMW Motorrad India has unveiled the 2025 iteration of the S 1000 RR, its iconic litre-class sportbike, at Bharat Mobility 2025. The updated model arrives just months after its global debut in October last year and is priced at ₹21.90 lakh (ex-showroom). Here’s a closer look at what’s new in this year’s upgrades.

The 2025 BMW S 1000 RR features refreshed bodywork, including a curvier and more pronounced headlamp cowl. The larger winglets, inspired by the track-focused BMW M 1000 RR, now provide enhanced downforce, boosting performance. The revised side fairings feature an asymmetrical design with functional updates: an exit vent on the left side and gills on the right. The front fender now incorporates integrated brake cooling ducts, ensuring improved heat dissipation during high-performance scenarios, especially on the track.

The bike also benefits from updated electronics. A new Pro riding mode and M Quick-Action throttle are now standard. Other advanced features include traction control, slide control, ABS with brake slide assist, four riding modes (Rain, Road, Dynamic, and Race), Hill Start Control, a bi-directional quickshifter, pitlane limiter, launch control, and more.

Powering the 2025 S 1000 RR is the familiar 999 cc inline four-cylinder, liquid-cooled engine, delivering 210 bhp and 113 Nm of peak torque, paired with a 6-speed gearbox. The motorcycle accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in just 3.3 seconds. While the engine and other hardware remain unchanged, these updates make the S 1000 RR even more track-friendly and engaging to ride.

Alongside the S 1000 RR, BMW Motorrad has also introduced the new BMW R 1300 GS Adventure at the Auto Expo 2025. Both motorcycles will be available soon across BMW Motorrad showrooms nationwide.

In addition to these launches, BMW Motorrad showcased a range of premium offerings at Bharat Mobility 2025. The lineup includes the CE 02 and CE 04 electric scooters, M 1000 XR, R 1300 GS Standard, F 900 GSA, R 12-9T, and the made-in-India G 310 series comprising the G 310 R, G 310 GS, and G 310 RR.
