BYD Seal Electric Sedan Achieves Over 1,000 Bookings Within 3 Months Of Its Launch
The BYD Seal is available in India in three variants. These include the base variant dynamic, the mid variant premium, and the top end variant performance.

BYD Seal was launched in India on 5th March 2024 and the electric sedan has now gathered over 1,000 bookings. In a recent reveal, BYD India (Build Your Dreams) announced that the Seal electric sedan, its third product in India after the E6 electric MPV and Atto 3 crossover SUV, has achieved this milestone within 3 months of its launch.
BYD also revealed that the SEAL EV received its first 500 bookings within 15 days of its launch and has garnered the remaining 500 in the last 2 months.
The BYD Seal is available in India in three variants. These include the base variant dynamic, the mid variant premium, and the top end variant performance.
The dynamic variant comes with rear wheel drive setup, a 61.44 kWh battery pack, 203.9 PS of power, 310 Nm of torque, 0 to 100 Km/h in 7.5 sec, and 510 km of NEDC combined cycle range.
The premium variant comes with rear wheel drive setup, 82.56 kWh battery pack, 312.7 PS of power, 360 Nm of torque, 0 to 100 Km/h in 5.9 sec, and 650 km of NEDC combined cycle range.
The performance variant comes with dual motor all wheel drive setup, 530.2 PS of max combined power, 670 Nm of max combined torque, 0 to 100 Km/h in 3.8 sec, and 580 km of NEDC combined cycle range.
On the pricing front, the base i.e. dynamic variant costs Rs 41 Lakh (ex-showroom), the mid i.e. premium variant costs Rs 45.55 Lakh (ex-showroom), and the top i.e. performance variant costs Rs 53 Lakh (ex-showroom).
