BYD eMax 7

Introduction

BYD, the Chinese EV manufacturer, has launched its fourth product in India, the eMAX 7 electric MPV. Available in two trims—Premium and Superior—the eMAX 7 offers both six-seater and seven-seater options.

Variants

The eMAX 7 comes in two trim levels:

• Premium: Starting at ₹26.90 lakh (six-seater) and ₹27.50 lakh (seven-seater).
• Superior: Priced at ₹29.30 lakh (six-seater) and ₹29.90 lakh (seven-seater).

Exterior

• Sleek LED headlights connected by a chrome strip.
• Updated angular air ducts on the bumper.
• 18-inch redesigned alloy wheels.
• Connected LED tail lights.

Interior

• A 12.8-inch rotating infotainment screen.
• Reworked center console controls and a new gear selector.
• Optional six-seater layout with captain seats or a seven-seater configuration.

Engine

The eMAX 7 offers two battery pack options:

• Premium: 55.4 kWh battery, 161 bhp, 310 Nm torque, 420 km range.
• Superior: 71.8 kWh battery, 201 bhp, 310 Nm torque, 530 km range.
