Details of the Price Revision
The Plus 1.2 NA Petrol MT variant of the Basalt X has seen a price increase of Rs. 37,000. The Max Turbo-Petrol MT Dark Edition remains at its previous price. All other variants have received a price hike of Rs. 40,000 each. This adjustment applies to all new purchases from this month onward.
Basalt X Range and Features

The Citroen Basalt X is available in three variants: You, Plus, and Max. Customers can choose between a 1.2-litre naturally aspirated petrol engine and a 1.2-litre turbocharged petrol engine. Transmission options include a five-speed manual, a six-speed manual, and a six-speed automatic gearbox.
The Basalt X competes with other compact SUVs in the Indian market. The recent price revision places the model in the Rs. 8.55 lakh to Rs. 13.95 lakh range, ex-showroom. This move aligns with similar price adjustments by other original equipment manufacturers this month.
